Did You Know? Sleep Is Just As Important As Exercise
In one study: people that typically didn’t get enough sleep were 72% more likely to be obese.
When it comes to body composition goals (weight loss) most people don't realize that sleep is equally as important as exercise. For those with autoimmune symptoms, or those keen on healthy aging, sleep is when your body does a lot of housekeeping to keep you healthy.
Many have come to believe that no-pain no gain, and living life with their foot on the gas are things to be championed. If you're interested in health, this simply isn't true.
In the grand scheme of health food is 80%, exercise is 10%, and sleep is 10%.
This tip sheet will give you some ideas to clean up your bed time routine to help you get a better night's sleep. Note: although these things definitely help I've found that getting your diet on track helps even more.
